Unique Geological Landforms

The Yancheng Yellow Sea wetlands boast the largest and most ecologically preserved coastal wetlands on the western coast of the Pacific Ocean and the edge of the Asian continent. These wetlands span supratidal, intertidal, and subtidal zones, representing a transitional ecosystem between terrestrial and marine environments. This showcases significant biological and ecological processes of universal value. Additionally, the Yancheng Yellow Sea wetlands are home to the world's most extensive collection of radial sandbars situated within the intertidal zone, seamlessly merging with the coast. The vastness and grandeur of these sandbars are unparalleled, making them a unique coastal feature worldwide.
