We have accurately, promptly, and thoroughly assessed the current environmental conditions and development trends of the Yancheng wetlands along with the heritage site. By collecting environmental data and accumulating long-term monitoring insights, we aim to provide data support for the environmental planning and ecological protection of these vital areas.
Research Focus:
We consistently monitor water, soil, and air within the protected areas, primarily using automated transmission equipment, complemented by manual observations.
1 Hydrological and Water Quality Monitoring: This includes measurements of flow rate, velocity, sediment levels, tidal patterns, water body pH, dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, and other key indicators.
2 Atmospheric Monitoring: Our primary focus here is on air quality, monitoring parameters such as inhalable particles, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen dioxide.
3 Meteorological Monitoring: We track variables including air temperature, humidity, precipitation, sunshine duration, wind speed, frost, snow, air pressure, surface, and soil temperatures.
4 Soil Monitoring: This pertains to the physical and chemical properties of soil. Monitoring can vary across different regions and habitats.
5 Annually, we compile and release monitoring and evaluation reports.
