In order to understand the species and populations of wintering birds in Yancheng, identify their distribution hotspots, and assess threats to their habitats, thereby providing fundamental data and management basis for bird conservation, wetland ecological restoration, and protection management, the Yancheng Wetland and Natural World Heritage Conservation and Management Center established six survey teams. From December 2024 to February 2025, a comprehensive two-month survey of wintering migratory birds was conducted across the Yancheng Heritage Site.
