ChineseToday | Conservationists protect wetland wildlife and their habitats in Yancheng

YANCHENG, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Milu deer, red-crowned crane, and spoon-billed sandpiper are known as the "three treasures" of Yancheng, an international wetland city in east China's Jiangsu Province.

Alongside these animals are a group of conservationists. They work in different roles, striving to protect wetland wildlife and their habitats.

China's Migratory Bird Sanctuaries along the coast of the Yellow Sea-Bohai Gulf (Phase I), located in Yancheng, were inscribed on the World Heritage List as a natural site in 2019.
