The 2025 World Coastal Forum will take place in Yancheng city of Jiangsu province from September 24 to 25, according to a press briefing on the forum on Thursday. 

Under the theme "Beautiful Coast: Ecological Priority and Green Development," the forum will include an opening ceremony, parallel forums, featured events, thematic seminars, and workshops. It plans to bring together approximately 300 participants, including representatives from domestic and foreign government departments, international organizations, academic institutions, enterprises, and youth delegates. In addition, the forum emphasizes public engagement by organizing civil activities such as an international bird-watching carnival.
